Happy May, everyone! I’ve been in the mood for SFF and YA fiction for the past couple of months and I’m sure this month will be no different! For May, I’m hoping to tackle some books in these genres that have been on my tbr for a while.
Crown of Feathers by Nicki Pau Preto
I won a used ARC copy of this one in a giveaway last month and it’s been sitting on my shelf, despite the interesting premise. I’ve heard very good things about Crown of Feathers over on bookstagram! Hopefully this is the month I get around to reading it!
I might have been just a *tiny* bit happy when Blink YA sent me an ARC of this beautiful book! I read the first chapter and oh. my. goodness. It sounds absolutely fantastic, and if the rest of the book is as captivating as that first chapter, Tiger Queen might just be one of my 5-star reads.
Our Dark Duet by Victoria Schwab (Monsters of Verity #2)
I read the first book in this series, This Savage Song, last Fall and received Our Dark Duet from one of my lovely bookstagram friends for Christmas. I have no idea why it’s taken me so long to crack open the sequel but I’m looking forward to returning to Verity and discovering what’s in store for August and Kate!
A Curse So Dark And Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer (A Curse So Dark And Lonely #1)
If you follow me on bookstagram, you know I adore and devour anything written by Brigid Kemmerer! Her books are binge-worthy. A Curse is this month’s pick for the book club I’m in, so I’m definitely not waiting any longer to read it! It’s also the first retelling I’ve ever read. Pretty exciting if you ask me!
Are any of these books on your tbr? Let me know in the comments!
